UI design and component system for a large-scale institutional website.

AHRI (the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute) engaged Velir to redesign their website and streamline its content architecture. Brought in as a contractor on Velir's creative team, I developed two visual concepts and worked from UX wireframes to design the full site, homepage, landing pages, detail pages, and forms, building a component library and token system to ensure consistency across a wide range of content types.
I collaborated closely with UX designers, my creative director, and the development team, and presented directly to the client throughout the process.

I designed a highly adaptive 11-component framework (navigation, cards, forms, and filters) with robust nesting and variable configurations to dynamically fit any layout or content requirement.

I design variables and tokens established a consistent visual foundation that translated cleanly to development.
