Abbott Laboratories developed MitraClip®, a device that helps people with heart conditions avoid surgery. The company needed a tool to enable their sales representatives to effectively describe the device's benefits to specialists.

Created an iPad messaging tool that helps sales representatives understand their target audience.

​

By categorizing information into three distinct areas, representatives gained key insights to assist doctors in recognizing the multiple benefits of incorporating MitraClip® into their practices.

HOW IT WORKS

On the introductory screen, sales representatives can select their specialty and user type to prepare for meetings with doctors.

To ensure the content is easy to navigate, the tool provides three types of messaging: Validating, Reinforcing, and Reacting. Additionally, the information is organized into three categories: Safety, Efficacy, and Experience.

Sales representatives can edit the information by adding notes or deleting content, allowing them to create a customized page tailored to their specific user.

The edited page can be previewed, saved, shared or printed.
